FIFF Cinema Salvation poster published

Official poster for the int'l competition of the 35th Fajr International Film Festival, Cinema Salvation, has been published.

The Cinema Salvation features international films that haven’t been screened in the Middle East region, including, in addition to 3 Iranian films, 12 films from China, Turkey, Colombia, Argentina, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Mexico, Indonesia, France and Spain in this year’s edition.

Established in 1982, Fajr International Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 35th International Fajr Film Festival is scheduled to take place in the country’s capital of Tehran from April 21 through 28, 2017.
